#Squirrels can't die from falling:
The terminal velocity of a squirrel is ~30 km/h (20 mph) compared to human at 200 km/h (120 mph).

This, combined with their low weight & tendency to flatten out on landing, makes falls from any height survivable (though injury still possible!).
