These very tiny, orange brown bell shaped mushrooms were sprouting all over this dead, damp, decayed log.They looked so dainty and fragile that you didn't want to touch them for fear of knocking them over and this mushroom had an extremely tiny bug resting on it's cap.

If you love Morel mushrooms, May is the month to search for these delicacies of nature especially in deciduous woods, around Trilliums or other spring flowers. You know it's a real Morel if you slice it and it has a hollow interior, beware the false ones as they can make you sick! This one was found at edge of my pond.

Os traigo esta pasada de Tremella mesenterica que he visto hoy sobre una rama seca de encina en la dehesa. El color no es tan anaranjado como en la foto, pero no podía entretenerme mucho. De tamaño, tendría unos 10-12 cm de diámetro. Espero que os guste.
