Danke auch an alle Menschen die da waren. Dankesworte an die verschiedensten FLOSS Projekte gerichtet haben. Den Kuchen und die Quiche verdunsten ließen (Achtung Werbeunterbrechung: Mehr davon gibt es im Schätzchen - Das Café für schöne Dinge & Salonkultur in der Marienburger Str. 5A) und so viel gute Laune für den Abend mitgebracht haben.

In #Berlin gilt da mein Dank (ohne Wichtung oder Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit der Liste) den FRe;AKs, LinuxWorks, dem f2a_space, Ubuntu Berlin und der BeLUG. #ilovefs
Anstatt den voll funktionierenden Rechner gegen einen neuen einzutauschen habe ich damals(TM) S.u.S.E. Linux installiert und den Computer noch ein paar Jahre länger benutzt und ihm erfolgreich dem Y2K-Test unterzogen, bevor es dann doch mal Zeit war einen neuen Rechner zu besorgen.
Heute ist das Thema Nachhaltigkeit presenter denn je und auch heute kann Freie Software wesentlich dazu beitragen den Elektroschrottberg zu verkleinern. Sei das jetzt auf älteren Computern und Notebooks denen ein verlängertes Leben geschenkt wird oder bei Smartphones die dank Freier Software länger mit Updates versorgt werden und so länger sicher eingesetzt werden können ohne sich alle paar Monate ein neues Telefon anzuschaffen.

Ab 16:30h geht es im Seminarraum los mit einem #UpcyclingAndroid Workshop bei dem ihr selbst mal Smartphones mit Custom ROMs flashen könnt. Euer eigenes oder ein von uns mitgebrachtes.
