My dog Bubbles and I caught a nice sunset on our walk to close out February. A cloud bank ate the Sun early, but the high ice left a nice halo for a while.

Gale swallowing Grand Haven lighthouse at sunset. A beautiful orange sunset, mostly obscured by a thick bank of very dark storm clouds rapidly moving ashore from Lake Michigan -- pushed by 70 mph winds. I was constantly leaning on my tripod to stabilize it against the wind, and the air was full of sand scouring any exposed skin (or gear). I didn't stay long in these conditions, worried for my gear and wanting to avoid the rapidly approaching torrential rain.
