Just Stop Oil: 100 arrests as protests shut down Whitehall - as group hits out at cenotaph 'lies'
Just Stop Oil slow marchers shut down Whitehall on Monday, with the group saying at least 130 members were arrested
Climate activist groups are protesting at the Energy Intelligence Forum in London, Oct. 17-19. The conference is underway at the Intercontinental Hotel in Park Lane. Extinction Rebellion (XR) and other groups are denouncing the impact of the fossil fuel industry on the climate. Protesters have blocked roads in the vicinity.
Further protests are likely throughout the duration of the conference
Manor House - Highbury & Islington
I love the decorative tiles that you can find at each Victoria Line station. This design by Edward Bawden, depicts a manor house which was built in 1271 & owned by a military monastic order. It was destroyed in the Peasant's Revolt of 1381.
The Perfect Fit

Curves - Reading
The tube map features many stops outside London city. With the recent Elizabeth line addition, I have a host of new stations to visit.
