1000 out of 1200 kids in this school in #Oulu, #Finland, arrive by #bicycle, even in winter. 100-150 walk, rest by ski, kicksleds and car. This day it was -17°C, some days it can be colder than -30°C.

Note that this is only one of the four bicycle parking areas of this school 🤗

Ein freier Tag und schönes Wetter? Also ab aufs Rad! Heute sollte es eine Runde um Bad Wildbad werden. Es wurden nur ~41km dennoch hat es gefühlt den ganzen Tag gedauert.
Erst mal ging es bis Enzklösterle dem Tal entlang um dann mit dem Aufstieg zu beginnen. Insgesammt sollten es 970hm werden 😀 Es waren immer mal wieder kleine Schnee Felder und auch teils gefrorene Bachläufe zu sehen.

Saw an trail going nowhere and followed it. Found a graffiti covered disused highway underpass with no access road and a complex trail system that seems to be an illegal motocross track during the summer. Less than 3km from my home.
