#GreatAlbums - #1970s: #Genesis – #NurseryCryme (1971). Fans forget Trespass was mostly all the way there, but Phil Collins sure can drum and Steve Hackett adds the necessary drive to take Genesis into the prog pantheon – plus it helps that Peter Gabriel finds humour in things like croquet played with human heads. Of all the 8-minute epics about killer vegetation terrorizing the English countryside, the one on this album is surely one of the best.
